Patrick Frazier: Owner of Fly Bum Outdoors
Fly Bum Outdoors was an idea I had many years ago, a place that local and traveling anglers could use as a research tool when planning trips here in the Southeast, especially in Virginia. Over the years I have collected a strong working knowledge of the fisheries here in the Southeast and will continue to update the site with this information.
My mission for this website has been to give updated information and advice about different streams aimed for not just beginners but people who fly fish on a regular basis. Such information as: what casting techniques work, what gear you should bring (flies, rods, waders), any unusual things about the stream, and directions to the streams.
